| Although not really our bread and butter, customers do on occasion require a cheapie truck package when a modest job does pop up. We have zero interest in outfitting a van because with their cramped space and weight limitations they just don’t accommodate a practical complement of equipment. So, we have built our baby truck on a rugged 4WD GMC Topkick chassis.
What’s more, whereas small truck lighting tends to get padded with the rental house’s day-old donuts, we won’t inflict upon you any tungsten lighting, or bygone generation LED. V1 offers a moderate lighting package including HMI (Arri M40, Joker 1600/800’s) and LED (Aputure 1000C/600X’s, SkyPanel S60’s, Kino Freestyle 31/21’s, Litemat Plus 4, and some Titan Tubes) to create what we believe to be the best value in a little truck under $1000.
